15.1 Secure Internal Messaging

The CRM features a fully Real-time WebSocket enabled secure internal messaging platform. This eliminates the necessity for unsafe third-party apps like WhatsApp or standard SMS when discussing sensitive participant details among colleagues.

Sarah (Manager): Has anyone covered the 2PM shift for Alex down at the South Clinic?
You: Yes, I swapped with David, he's heading there now.
David: Confirmed. Arriving in 10.

15.2 Communication Gateways (Email/SMS)

External notifications targeting coordinators or family members flow through robust, configurable API layers. For emails, Nodemailer works in tandem with robust SMTP relays to trigger alerts reliably. Automated SMS text reminders—frequently used for shift schedule updates and client checkups—are routed securely to prevent missed schedules.

15.3 Client Interaction Tracking

To comply heavily with NDIS continuity of care standards, every message dispatched through the Client Portal or via external Email gateways is permanently archived under the specific client's Case Profile. Logs indicate timestamps, content payload, and the staff member who initiated correspondence.
